Our Home Care Services

We're here to help with the tasks of every day living.

Conversation / Companionship

"AT YOUR SERVICE" is available to provide clients company, engage in conversation, or provide recreational activities and crafts. Social contact is proven to enhance the health, happiness and quality of life of older adults.

Alzheimer’s / Dementia Care

Losing one’s memory and other life skills is probably the most difficult transition that occurs in today’s world. Our Caregivers have the patience, creativeness and experience to assist any person facing this challenge.

Light Housekeeping

"AT YOUR SERVICE" light housekeeping services include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning bathrooms (sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets), cleaning kitchens (sinks, appliances, counters, taking out trash), straightening all rooms, organizing closets and drawers and other assorted household chores.

Medication Reminders

Although "AT YOUR SERVICE" cannot administer medications, we can help ensure that clients take their own medication as prescribed. We can assist with opening medication containers, reading labels and reminding the client when it is time to take medications.

Household Organization

Getting the daily paper and mail, watering the plants, organizing bills, assisting with insurance claims and paperwork, appointment reminders and escorting to appointments are just a few of the services we provide.

Meal Preparation (Including Special Dietary Needs)

"AT YOUR SERVICE" will plan and prepare hot, delicious, and nutritious meals, allowing clients to help with preparation according to their ability. Many older adults do not have the opportunity to eat a well-balanced meal, so this service helps them get the nutrition they need to enjoy healthier living.

Laundry / Linens

Laundry can be done in either the client's home or the laundromat and includes washing, drying, folding, ironing and putting things away. Changing linens and keeping the bed neat and clean is important for every household. "AT YOUR SERVICE" will also gladly pick up and deliver your dry cleaning as needed.

Incidental Transportation

We provide transportation such as taking clients to medical appointments, barbershops, beauty salons, shopping at the mall, or wherever else you want to go. Getting out and about is good for mind, body and spirit—and an integral part of what "AT YOUR SERVICE" is all about.

Grocery Shopping / Errands

"AT YOUR SERVICE" will shop for groceries and other items needed at stores of their clients’ preference and run errands, such as picking up prescriptions or going to the post office. Clients may choose to stay home or help with shopping & errands as an excellent way to stay active and engaged.

Bathing / Personal Hygiene / Continence Care

Personal Hygiene is of utmost importance to all of us. Assisting clients in and out of the shower, washing hair, brushing teeth and toileting are all part of what we do.

Transfers / Lifts

Avoiding falls is paramount to every older adult. Whether holding an arm, assisting with a gait belt or utilizing a lift to help our clients in and out of bed, or to and from the toilet is something we do on a daily basis.

Hospice Assistance

Helping families cope with the passing of a loved one at home can be overwhelming. "AT YOUR SERVICE" works closely with local Hospice companies to ensure that family members can stay strong during these trying times. By tending to their loved one, making sure they stay clean and comfortable, allows everyone to attend to their own needs, knowing their loved one is in good hands.

Therapy Exercise Reminders

When the Doctor orders Physical, Occupational or Speech therapy, “At Your Service” is there to remind and assist our clients in practicing their home exercises.

Respite Care / Family Relief

Care giving can be rewarding and often strengthens bonds within a family. At the same time, care giving can be demanding amidst life's other responsibilities. Family caregivers and those in their care can benefit from a little time off now and then. Although everything we do can be considered respite care giving, specific time can be scheduled as needed to provide family caregivers the opportunity to run errands, go shopping or get some much needed rest.
