LAUNDRY & HOUSEHOLD DUTIES
A clean, organized home can do wonders for one’s state of mind, and even physical well-being. Yet, for those who require in-home assistance, laundry and household duties can feel like an impossibility. Have no fear: At Your Service can help!
At Your Service promises an affordable alternative for those individuals who wish to remain in their homes and live a happy and dignified life. As with each of our services, laundry and household duties offered by our skilled caregivers is meant to relieve clients of stress and burdens so that they can maintain peace of mind, independence, and quality of life.
Clean clothing and bedding is crucial for both personal hygiene and mental health, yet doing the laundry is no small task for many of the elderly and others who require in-home care. While friends and family may try to help, laundry and linens can become a part time job in itself, and professional assistance may be needed. Don’t worry: At Your Service has the solution.

What Does Light Housekeeping Mean?
Because the primary goal and expertise of At Your Service caregivers is interacting with our valued clients, it is important to clarify what we mean by “light” housekeeping, as opposed to “heavy” housekeeping.
Whereas heavy housekeeping may involve larger, more complex projects, such as painting, lawn maintenance, or using power tools, light housekeeping includes the everyday tasks that maintain a home’s comfort and livability. While it is the case that the housekeeping services of At Your Service are generally on the light side, we are more than happy to help clients research and hire the assistance of other cleaning, construction, or design professionals.
